Toz (CEO Kim Ki-tae) announced that it has been selected for the 2024 Cultural Content Market Creation Support Project by the Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency and has unveiled an immersive media content adaptation of "Hong Gil-dongjeon" tailored to contemporary times after six months of development.
This project focuses on revitalizing immersive education, enhancing market accessibility, and expanding service coverage through various platforms. Toz is creating an immersive educational environment by building an interaction and education system utilizing variable spaces through a spatial-based education platform.
In particular, the social class system in Hong Gil-dongjeon was adapted into a customized story suitable for a digital twin environment, which is expected to satisfy visitors' intellectual curiosity and contribute to enhancing imagination and creativity.
Under the title "Hong Gil-dong Begins," an interaction experience zone using three-sided projection mapping has been established on the B3 floor of the National Library of Korea, and commercialization testing has been completed, with the service launch imminent. This experience zone will provide visitors with a realistic experience and offer an opportunity to reinterpret the content of Hong Gil-dongjeon.
Meanwhile, a Toz representative stated, "We plan to continuously strive to contribute to the development of the cultural content market and provide diverse educational experiences through innovative content development."
