‘Cheongnyeon Dojeon Support Project’ Recipient Conducts Profile Photoshoot with ‘Sihyeonhada Bukchon House’
Provides Various Programs Including Close Counseling, Case Management, and Career Exploration
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it collaborated with the photography company ‘Sihyeonhada’ to conduct profile photo shoots for 25 young participants in the ‘Youth Challenge Support Project.’
The district organized the profile photo shoots to boost the confidence of young people and strengthen their competitiveness in the job market.
‘Sihyeonhada’ is a photography company specializing in ID photos and portrait photography, providing stylish and sophisticated photos that reflect the customer's desired style and identity.
The profile photo shoots were held at ‘Sihyeonhada Bukchon House’ for selected outstanding youth participants among the applicants of the ‘Youth Challenge Support Project.’ Throughout the shooting and retouching process, participants communicated extensively with professional recorders to express their individuality and strengths.
The photos taken will be used in various job-seeking activities such as resume writing and portfolio creation, and are expected to provide practical help for young people in finding employment.
A young participant in the profile shoot said, “The Youth Challenge Support Project program helped me understand myself more deeply and find what I want to do,” adding, “Based on the job knowledge and confidence I have gained so far, I will use the photos taken to succeed in getting a job.”
The ‘Youth Challenge Support Project’ aims to increase the job-seeking motivation of young people who have lost enthusiasm due to employment failure or career breaks by providing customized programs.
In February, the district was selected by the Ministry of Employment and Labor for the Youth Challenge Support Project and designated ‘Geumcheon-gu Youth Activity Space Cheongchun Building’ as the executing agency. At ‘Cheongchun Building,’ young people are provided with ▲close counseling ▲case management ▲confidence recovery ▲career exploration ▲job competency enhancement programs.
Through the Youth Challenge Support Project, a total of eight young people, including those employed at the Credit Guarantee Foundation, have succeeded in employment and entrepreneurship so far. Next year, the district plans to expand the number of participating youth to 120 to help more young people successfully enter society.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “We will continue multifaceted support so that young people who had given up on job seeking can stand up again,” and added, “We will continue to provide various opportunities and programs so that young people can take their first step into society.”
