Clean Nature 'Rest & Healing' Program Receives Positive Response
Hoisan Baengnyeonji Emerging as a Popular Date Spot

Mu-an County in Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) successfully concluded the youth matchmaking event "SoloDullo," which garnered high interest and resulted in the formation of six couples.


According to the county on the 18th, the event held over one night and two days from the 16th to the 17th initially planned to recruit 10 men and 10 women each, but it saw fierce competition with 56 male applicants and 24 female applicants.

The county selected additional participants to provide new meeting opportunities for young men and women, ultimately choosing 12 men and 12 women. The participants came from diverse professions such as teachers, pharmacists, public officials, company employees, and nurses, allowing them to meet people they would not normally encounter.


The event took place at Hoisan Baengnyeonji, a representative tourist site of Mu-an County, known as the largest cluster of white lotus in Korea and a year-round stay-type tourist destination. The program was designed to offer rest and healing through the pristine nature of Hoisan Baengnyeonji, helping it to emerge as a popular dating spot in Mu-an County, which received positive responses.


Governor Kim San stated, "The SoloDullo event received great interest from young people," and added, "We will continue to actively utilize beautiful locations in Mu-an County, such as Hoisan Baengnyeonji, to help more young people form new relationships here."


Meanwhile, Mu-an County plans to regularly organize gatherings where the younger generation in the region can naturally communicate and build relationships, further strengthening local policies aimed at increasing the population and attracting young residents.
