Goyang-si K-High Tech Platform Support Group Holds 'AI Master Course' Completion Ceremony

Concluded with a Special Lecture by KAIST Professor Kim Dae-sik

Goyang Industry Promotion Agency (Director Han Dong-gyun) K-High Tech Platform Support Group (Director Kim Jong-sang) announced on the 18th that the ’2024 K-High Tech Platform Leaders Forum: AI Master Course‘, which was hosted from the 17th of last month to the 13th, was successfully concluded with a keynote presentation by KAIST Professor Kim Dae-sik titled ‘The Future Changed by Generative AI’ and the completion ceremony.

The completion ceremony was held successfully with the attendance of Kim Kyu-seok, Director of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, Eom Jong-hwan, Vice President of SK Telecom, Choi Jae-boong, Vice President of Sungkyunkwan University, and graduates from nine AI platform leaders forums nationwide.


In particular, a total of 17 personnel from companies located in Goyang City, including those affiliated with the Goyang City Small and Medium Enterprise Council, participated in this AI Master Course and all completed it.


Hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, and organized by Goyang Industry Promotion Agency, Sungkyunkwan University, SK Telecom, and nine nationwide high-tech platforms, the AI Leaders Forum plans to continue the program next year targeting regional small and medium enterprises and other digital companies.


Kim Jong-sang, Director of the K-High Tech Platform Support Group, said, “We will continue to introduce various programs so that executives of Goyang City companies can wisely overcome the waves of artificial intelligence (AI).”
