The fire department issued a Level 2 response as the fire spread to nearby factories, deploying 36 pieces of equipment and 90 personnel to extinguish the fire.

Level 2 response is an alert that mobilizes 51 to 80 pieces of equipment from 8 to 14 surrounding fire stations.

The authorities plan to investigate the scale of human and property damage once the fire is brought under control.

Meanwhile, Paju City sent a disaster alert message advising residents to "close windows and pay attention to safety" due to the large amount of smoke generated by the fire.
