Busan Office of Education Holds Parent Communication and Empathy Talk Concert

On-site and Remote Training for Parents of Infants and Toddlers

Opportunities for Parental Growth and Learning, Enhancing Childcare Competence

Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yun-su) will hold the ‘Parent Communication and Empathy Talk Concert’ twice on the 19th and 21st at Kumuda Concert Hall and the National Maritime Museum Auditorium for parents of infants and toddlers.

This concert is part of a community-based early childhood education and care innovation support project aimed at creating a ‘Busan that is good for raising and educating children.’

The Busan Office of Education focuses on providing parents of infants and toddlers with opportunities for growth and learning to enhance their child-rearing capabilities through the talk concert. On-site training and remote training using the city education office’s YouTube channel will be conducted simultaneously.

The concert on the 19th will be held at 10 a.m. at Kumuda Concert Hall with an experiential lecture by violinist Cho Yoon-beom, leader of the string quartet ‘Quartet X.’

He will present under the theme ‘Happy Solutions for Preparing Your Child’s Future ? Famous Scenes in Music History through Enjoyable Lectures and Performances,’ sharing stories behind the pieces and notable moments in music history.

The concert on the 21st will take place at 10 a.m. in the National Maritime Museum Auditorium. Director Park Jae-yeon of the Replus Human Research Institute will give a lecture titled ‘Conversation Methods That Save Your Child! Communication Solutions for Parenting!’ Afterwards, participants will visit Arte Museum to experience cultural arts such as media art.
