Seocho-gu to Hold 'Reconstruction Association Settlement Meeting' on the 19th

Seocho-gu Famous Apartment Association Heads Gather to Share Opinions
"Presenting a Nationwide Blueprint for Reconstruction Projects"

Seocho-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) will hold a "Reconstruction Association Liquidation Meeting" on the 19th at the district office to explore efficient management plans for reconstruction associations that have not yet been liquidated.

This meeting is part of Seocho-gu’s nationwide first initiative, the ‘Seocho-type Unliquidated Reconstruction Association Management Plan,’ which has been implemented since October 30. It is designed to listen to the opinions of association heads in the liquidation stage and experts, understand the actual conditions on site, and derive effective institutional improvement measures.

The meeting attendees include the heads of 13 unliquidated reconstruction associations within the district, the expert support group for liquidation, and about 20 Seocho-gu officials. The meeting will begin by hearing the voices of the association heads. They will candidly present their opinions on related laws and systems such as the ‘Act on Maintenance and Improvement of Urban Areas and Dwelling Conditions.’

The association heads in the liquidation stage are field experts who have successfully led the reconstruction of premium complexes within Seocho-gu. The district plans to actively reflect their know-how and suggestions in future reconstruction policies.

Next, experts from the ‘Customized Expert Support Group for Liquidation,’ who are active as mentors in maintenance projects throughout Seoul, will advise on solutions to the association heads’ proposals and the future operational direction of the associations. Finally, public officials and experts will freely exchange opinions to discuss improvement plans for the reconstruction maintenance project liquidation system and future plans, concluding the meeting.

Meanwhile, the ‘Customized Expert Support Group for Liquidation’ consists of experts with abundant expertise and experience capable of resolving issues arising during the liquidation stage. It is composed of 8 to 10 experts in related fields such as tax accounting, legal affairs, construction, architecture, and urban planning, providing legal advice and solutions for disputes occurring during the liquidation stage to support prompt association liquidation.

We will continue to proactively respond to the administrative needs of residents and strive to present a blueprint for nationwide reconstruction projects from Seocho-gu.”
