The representative products Epson will showcase at this exhibition include ▲ the high-end SCARA 'GX Series' that achieves high speed and high precision ▲ the world's first folding arm structure 'N Series' that enables free movement even in narrow spaces ▲ the spectral vision system that quickly and accurately distinguishes color differences difficult to discern with the naked eye ▲ and the best-selling SCARA 'LS-B Series.'
At the Epson booth, various demo presentations using key robot products will also be conducted. Demonstrations will include ▲ the color inspection process using Epson's spectral vision system and 6-axis robot C4 ▲ the conveyor tracking PCB screw fastening process implemented with SCARA LS10B ▲ and the dice conveyor tracking P&P process utilizing SCARA GX8 and Epson vision system. Notably, the semiconductor inspection process implemented with the 6-axis robot N2 and SCARA GX4 will be unveiled for the first time at the Daegu exhibition.
Additionally, Epson will introduce its proprietary 'GyroPlus technology.' This technology is a core Epson robot technology that detects vibrations with a gyro sensor mounted on the robot and controls them via the controller, compensating for motor vibrations during rapid movements to ensure precise operation.
To commemorate participation in DAMEX 2024, Epson will hold a quiz event related to Epson robots for booth visitors, providing a small gift to all participants.
Shigeo Fujii, CEO of Korea Epson, stated, "Epson's SCARA robots, with over 40 years of history, have maintained the number one position in the global market for 13 consecutive years as of 2024." He added, "We hope many customers will experience Epson's high-speed and high-precision robot technology at this exhibition, and we will continue to present reliable and applicable solutions for various industrial sites with trusted technology."
