Implementation of New Features Including 3D Rotational Massage
Also Received MFDS Certification for 'Muscle Pain Relief'
Ceragem announced on the 18th that its spinal medical device Master V9 won the bronze award at the ‘2024 Good Design Korea Awards’.
Established in 1985, the Good Design Korea Awards is a design competition hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. After comprehensive evaluations of aesthetics, originality, and usability, only products with excellent design are granted the government certification mark ‘Good Design (GD)’.
A Ceragem representative explained, “The Master V9 applied Ceragem’s design identity philosophy of ‘Simple Perfection,’ achieving a harmonious design that does not disrupt interior decor and fits well in any indoor space, which earned it high marks.”
The Master V9 is the first in the Master series to introduce a new massage module called the ‘5th Generation Ceracore Engine,’ enabling three-dimensional rotational massage, and supports up to 50-degree electric reclining, among many other new features.
Based on Ceragem’s unique healthcare know-how and expertise, it has received the most medical device usage purpose certifications from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety among the lineup. The certified usage purposes for this product include ‘assistance in treating intervertebral disc (herniated disc) disorders,’ ‘assistance in treating degenerative stenosis,’ ‘relief of muscle pain,’ ‘improvement of blood circulation,’ ‘assistance in treating menstrual pain,’ and ‘prevention of deep vein thrombosis,’ totaling six purposes.
Additionally, the massage chair Pause M6 and the beauty device Cellunic Medispa Pro were also recognized for their design value and received the GD certification mark.
A Ceragem representative stated, “We will continue to introduce sensibly designed products that maximize the core functions of the products while enhancing the elegance of spaces.”
