Goyang-si Wins Ministerial Award for Two Consecutive Years at the 'Korea Job Awards'

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 18th that it received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the '2024 Korea Job Awards' jointly hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Hankook Ilbo.

With this, Goyang City achieved the distinction of receiving ministerial awards for two consecutive years, following the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award in 2023.

The 2024 Korea Job Awards are presented to local governments and public institutions that have implemented outstanding policies or showcased excellent job creation cases to create quality jobs. The awards were held in conjunction with the '2024 Regional Economy Innovation Expo' from September 23 to 25 at Daegu EXCO East Hall, Exhibition Halls 4 and 5.

Wang Yeon-woo, Head of the Job Policy Division, stated, “We will continue to implement various job policies tailored to local conditions and do our best to make Goyang City abundant with quality jobs.”
