Lotte Mart announced on the 18th that it newly opened the total pet care store "Collioli Pet Town" at Lotte Mart Singal branch located in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 14th.

Collioli Pet Town is a place that gathers content related to pet life under the concept of "A pet life hub in front of my house, everything needed for pet owners and pets in one place."

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the number of households raising pets in Korea increased from 3.64 million in 2012 to 6.74 million last year. This accounts for 28.2% of all households in the country. In response to this change, Lotte Mart explained that more pet owners are seeking various services and products covering the entire life cycle of pets, including food, supplies, medical care, education, leisure, and funeral services.

The Lotte Mart Singal branch, where the first Collioli Pet Town was established, is an area with high market potential for pets. According to Lotte Mart's own commercial area analysis, the proportion of pet-owning households in the surrounding commercial area of Singal branch significantly exceeds the proportion of pet-owning households across all Lotte Mart stores nationwide. Yongin-si, where Singal branch is located, has a high level of interest in pets within the local community, hosting pet culture festivals, and ranks 16th out of 246 autonomous districts nationwide in income level, placing it in the upper tier.

Lotte Mart dedicated the entire first floor space of Singal branch, measuring 1,124㎡ (approximately 340 pyeong), to Collioli Pet Town. This is the first time that an entire first-floor space within a large mart has been filled with content for pets. Collioli Pet Town consists of a specialized healthcare service area for pets, a food and supplies specialty shop, and leisure and cultural experience spaces. The space uses materials that reduce joint strain on pets from flooring to furniture, and disinfects twice daily for pets with sensitive olfactory senses.

First, the specialized healthcare service area for pets features ▲Pet kindergarten & hotel "Bauraum" ▲Animal medical center "Dr. Pet" ▲Pet insurance "Pet Jjujju." Bauraum is a pet service company operating a pet kindergarten with a hotel and dog training facilities for dogs. Dr. Pet is an animal specialty hospital equipped with the latest medical devices such as MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), providing medical services from specialists with 20 years of experience. The pet insurance specialty shop Pet Jjujju offers services such as pet insurance comparison, recommendations, and customized planning.

The food and supplies corner houses Lotte Mart's pet specialty shop "Collioli." Collioli sells about 2,000 types of pet-related products at reasonable prices. Verified professional companies such as the pet studio "Pet the Jane" and "Wellness Pet Grooming," which provides pet grooming & spa services, have also opened stores. There is also an exhibition space called "8th Street Gallery" where visitors can enjoy exhibitions with their pets.

Additionally, a 30-meter-long running track where pets can walk regardless of the weather, a lounge for pet families to relax together, and a photo booth have been prepared.

To commemorate the opening of Collioli Pet Town at Lotte Mart Singal branch, a promotion is underway. Collioli offers up to 50% discounts on pet food and supplies. Kim Kyung-tae, head of Lotte Mart & Super Tenant Division, said, "In the fiercely competitive distribution market, we introduced Collioli Pet Town to provide differentiated customer value and shopping experience with Lotte Mart's unique content," adding, "We will continue to present attractive shopping spaces that occupy customers' time through customer-centered spatial innovation."
