Gyeonggi-do, 'Resident Autonomy Communication and Performance Sharing Meeting' on the 15th

Gyeonggi Province held the 'Resident Autonomy Communication and Performance Sharing Meeting' on the 15th at Dasan Hall in the Gyeonggi Provincial Government building.


On this day, the event was held with about 400 residents attending, featuring various programs such as commendations for contributors to the activation of resident autonomy, a talk concert, and celebratory performances.


Gyeonggi Province planned this event to raise awareness of the importance of resident autonomy and to strengthen communication within the local community.

Gyeonggi Province awarded commendations to 315 contributors to resident autonomy who actively participated in various fields such as resident autonomy councils, village meetings, and gathering resident opinions, contributing to the development of the local community. Additionally, an O/X quiz was conducted to convey the concept of resident autonomy in an easy and fun way.


At the main program, the '2.8.Cheong.Chun. (A blueprint of resident autonomy in Gyeonggi Province drawn by representatives of residents in their 20s to 80s and the coming spring)' talk concert, one representative from each age group came forward to share their thoughts on receiving the commendation and to share the contents and achievements of resident autonomy activities for the year.


Kim Seong-jung, the First Deputy Governor of Gyeonggi Province, said, "It was a meaningful time to see local residents come together and cooperate to create a better community," and promised, "We will continue to spare no support to activate resident autonomy."
