This workshop was designed to help participants discover themselves within relationships and foster organizational commitment. It featured differentiated content focused on positive emotion management, including ▲preliminary personality tests ▲The Artist's Gift (creating a collection of artworks for the main character) ▲discovering a new self through psychological stories.
In particular, the multi-dimensional personality test debriefing titled ‘Psychological Stories to Discover the Whole Me,’ conducted with the participation of the individual and their acquaintances, increased engagement by providing time for reflection on oneself through understanding personal personality, improving interaction levels among team members, and questions for self-care in daily life.
Additionally, six creators including social psychologists, writers, painters, and photo storytellers carefully considered the main character's feelings and compiled messages from acquaintances into the ‘Me Fine’ book, a unique art collection for the main character, which received great emotional response and enthusiasm from participants.
One trainee who attended said, “It was a meaningful and exciting time to truly understand myself through a single book,” adding, “I made a resolution to be more confident about myself and become a more valuable employee.”
Kang Hye-sook, Head of the Human Resources Department, stated, “Through self-understanding, better decisions can be made and smooth interpersonal relationships can be maintained,” and added, “Namyangju City will continue various supports for employees' psychological well-being and personal growth to enhance organizational efficiency.”
Meanwhile, as part of this year’s mindfulness project, the city operated △ ‘Psychology Made Easy with No Ju-seon’ to take control of one’s life △ ‘Sabujak Sabujak’ experiential classes for mental recovery, and also made efforts to create a happy workplace and public service culture through △ Sangsangba Empathy Communication Workshop △ Integrated Employee Training △ Genuine Communication Mind Talk, among others.
