Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 15th that it will recruit 133 participants for the '2025 Disabled Employment Project' to support social participation expansion and economic independence by providing customized public jobs for employment-vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities.
The number of recruits this time is ▲ 28 full-time ▲ 13 part-time ▲ 92 welfare-type positions, and unemployed registered persons with disabilities aged 18 or older who have their resident registration address in Yangju City can apply.
However, those who are National Health Insurance workplace subscribers, holders of business registration certificates, participants in other government or local government financially supported jobs, or those who have participated in the disabled employment project for more than two consecutive years (except for persons with severe disabilities, basic livelihood security recipients, and those aged 65 or older) are restricted from participating.
Applications can be made by visiting the administrative welfare centers of the relevant eup, myeon, or dong from the 25th to the 29th, and for welfare-type jobs, applications can also be submitted at the Yangju City Disabled Comprehensive Welfare Center.

Selected participants will perform welfare and administrative support tasks, guidance for disabled-only parking zones, and other duties at the city hall, eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers, and social welfare facilities from January to December next year. Placement will reflect individual disability types and desired job roles.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun stated, “We are continuously expanding employment projects to establish a foundation for the independence of people with disabilities,” and added, “We will strive to support the improvement of job skills for job-seeking persons with disabilities and provide quality jobs.”
