Polaris Office announced on the 15th that it has won the CES 2025 AI Innovation Award with ‘AI NOVA,’ a next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) agent technology specialized in document work. This is the first award received by a domestic office software company, and it marks international recognition of the company’s AI technology and the innovation of users’ work productivity.
AI NOVA is an AI agent technology that improves the efficiency of document work in Polaris Office, used by 130 million users worldwide. It combines large language models (LLM) from OpenAI and Anthropic with proprietary AI technology to provide an environment where users can easily enhance their productivity.
CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the world’s largest ICT convergence exhibition held annually in Las Vegas, USA, where major companies from around the world showcase their latest technologies and products. Polaris Office plans to present a document editing solution with innovative features based on AI NOVA at ‘CES 2025,’ scheduled for January next year.
Joon Kyung Ji, CEO of Polaris Office, said, “It is very meaningful that Polaris Office, used by users worldwide, has been recognized for its AI technology and received the CES 2025 Innovation Award,” adding, “We will actively seek to expand supply channels so that our AI document solutions can be utilized by various users in the future.”
Meanwhile, Polaris Office is emerging as a global AI specialized company by appointing Vice President Seok Lee as Chief AI Officer and establishing an AI Convergence Research Institute to apply AI across various industries.
