Solution Business Revenue Achieves Last Year's Full-Year Performance
Q3 Operating Loss Recorded at 2.2 Billion Won
Digital platform solution specialist 'Platiier' announced on the 15th that it recorded sales of 7.77 billion KRW and an operating loss of 2.21 billion KRW in the third quarter of this year.
Third-quarter sales increased by 6.8% compared to the previous quarter and 4.3% compared to the same period last year, laying the foundation for a growth trend. In particular, the solution business recorded sales of 5.35 billion KRW cumulatively in the third quarter, reaching last year's annual performance level.
By business segment, Platiier's AI personalization MarTech solution Groobee grew 19.5% year-on-year, achieving the highest quarterly sales. In addition to Korea Seven, which operates Seven Eleven, and Able Shop, the official online mall of Able C&C, it secured customers such as foreign fashion brands and large retail companies.
They plan to accelerate customer expansion through technological advancements such as generative AI.
The e-commerce solution X2BEE, designed for mid-sized brand and manufacturer corporate clients to develop D2C shopping malls, is also expanding its business by introducing the X2BEE AI feature that supports operating cost reduction.
The digital transformation business achieved its highest-ever third-quarter sales, growing 27% year-on-year and 14.5% quarter-on-quarter. In particular, the newly secured Koscom ITSM project is a large-scale contract exceeding 10% of the business division's annual sales last year. They continue to expand solutions to major clients such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, Lotte Innovate, Krafton, and Kakao VX.
Lee Sang-hoon, CEO of Platiier, said, "We plan to further expand growth by accelerating AI advancement and the influx of large corporate clients," adding, "We were selected as the preferred negotiator in the large e-commerce SI business, so performance improvement is expected after the fourth quarter."
