Effects on Students' Healthy Growth and Safe Educational Environment Creation

On the 16th at 2 PM, the Busan Western Office of Education will join forces with members of the Western School Operation Committee Council to conduct a 'Smoking, Drug, and Deepfake Sexual Crime Prevention Campaign' at Songdo Beach and other locations.

This campaign aims to raise awareness about the seriousness of deepfake sexual crimes, which have emerged as a critical social issue, as well as the harms caused by smoking and drug use, in order to prevent and eradicate them.

About 30 participants, including Education Director Lee Jaehan, officials from the Education Support Office, Kang Eunah, president of the Western School Operation Committee Council, and its members, are expected to take part in the campaign.

They will carry out the campaign using pickets, placards, and promotional materials to prevent smoking, drug use, and deepfake sexual crimes at Songdo Beach and Hadan Art Mall, popular spots frequently visited by citizens of Western Busan, aiming to improve awareness among students and citizens.

The Western Office of Education expects this campaign to play a significant role in fostering healthy growth among youth and creating a safe educational environment.

Kang Eunah, president of the Western School Operation Committee Council, said, "I hope this campaign will serve as an opportunity to provide our students with a safe educational environment free from deepfake sexual crimes and harmful substances."

Lee Jaehan, Education Director of the Western Office of Education, stated, "Going forward, our support office will take the lead in protecting students from the dark temptations and creating a safe school culture through close cooperation with the local community."
