Hanwha Ocean explained to the visiting military officials not only its submarine construction technology but also its capability to meet delivery deadlines and its training plans for crew members and maintenance personnel to maintain stable submarine operation capabilities.
In particular, Poland has had key military officials visit consecutively, including Thomas Szubryt, Superintendent of the Naval Academy last month, and Chief of Navy Jarosław Zymi?ski, fostering a positive outlook on the Orca project that Poland is promoting.
Additionally, the visit served as an opportunity to introduce Hanwha Ocean's capabilities and products to military officials from South America, including C?sar Mauricio Jaramillo, Commander of the Peruvian Submarine Force, as well as Chile and Ecuador, and to discuss the South American regional situation and local requirements, seeking cooperation plans to pioneer new markets.
Polish Chief of Navy Jarosław Zymi?ski said, "During yesterday's visit to the Submarine Command, I confirmed the Republic of Korea Navy's active submarine operation capabilities, and today, being able to directly visit the site where the Jangbogo-III Batch-II is simultaneously being constructed at Hanwha Ocean was very impressive."
Seongwoo Park, Executive Director of Hanwha Ocean's Special Ship Overseas Business Division, emphasized, "The Orca project will serve as an opportunity to further strengthen the partnership between Korea and Poland in economic and industrial fields as well as naval power development through submarine exports."
