Site Featuring CSAT Passage 'Yoon Resignation Rally Guide'... Police "Domain Purchased Today"

"No Original Owner and Not a Hacking Incident"

When a web address link appearing in a passage of the Korean language section of the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) was found to lead to a site announcing a 'Yoon Seok-yeol President Resignation Rally,' controversy arose, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

On the 14th, the National Police Agency stated, "It has been confirmed that the domain, which originally had no owner, was purchased today and the homepage was operated. It is judged not to be a hacking case, and the Chungbuk Provincial Police Agency is investigating the facts."

The link appears in passages 40 to 43 of the Language and Media section and is a short address starting with 'https://'. When entered, it led to a page stating, "Thank you for your hard work, examinees. Kim Geon-hee Yoon Seok-yeol State Corruption Condemnation and Special Investigation Request 3rd National Action Day." The site has since been shut down.

The Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, the organization responsible for creating the CSAT questions, released an official statement that day, saying, "The site in question was a virtual site arbitrarily created during the test development process and is completely unrelated to the rally announcement content," and expressed regret "that the CSAT questions, a matter of national interest, were politically exploited."
