SDT to Establish Malaysia's First Quantum Computing Center

MOU with National Research Institute under Malaysia Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation

Quantum standard technology specialist SDT announced on the 14th that it has formed a partnership with Malaysia's MIMOS Technology Solutions (MTSSB) to establish Malaysia's first quantum computing center.

MIMOS is a national R&D center under the Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, leading research and development to promote the advancement of the country's digital infrastructure and technological innovation. MTSSB, a subsidiary of MIMOS, plays a crucial role in securing industrial projects that utilize MIMOS's advanced technologies.

Through the partnership with MTSSB to establish Malaysia's first quantum computing center, SDT aims not only to lay the foundation for quantum computing in Malaysia but also to connect MIMOS's expertise with industry, helping Malaysia build a robust quantum technology competitiveness.

The partnership between SDT and Malaysia is significant in that it demonstrates South Korea's status as a rising quantum powerhouse and exporter of quantum technology in the global market.
