Dongjak-gu to Hold 'Early Admission Mock Interviews' for Examinees on the 15th and 16th

Dongjak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Il-ha) will hold a "Mock Interview with Admissions Officers" on the 15th and 16th, right after the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), for high school seniors currently enrolled and repeat test takers preparing for early admission interviews.

Organized by the Dongjak Admission Support Center, this program is designed to provide students applying for the 2025 college early admission process with interview experience similar to the real thing, aiming to reduce their psychological burden and assist in their college preparation.

The mock interviews will take place on the 15th and 16th at the Dongjak Admission Support Center, where experts with years of experience in college guidance, including public admissions officers from major universities in Seoul, will participate as mock interviewers.

One interviewer will conduct approximately 60 minutes of consulting per session with three students, covering basic common questions such as self-introduction and motivation for application, as well as customized questions tailored to each university and admission type based on recent trends.

Considering the university interview formats divided into "document-based interviews" and "passage-based interviews," students will be carefully guided to prepare according to their application type and university-specific strategies.

Additionally, professional advice and feedback on areas for improvement will be provided, offering examinees a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills and assess their abilities.

Previously, the district office recruited participants through the Dongjak-gu official website, and the program gained great popularity, closing early due to an overwhelming number of applicants.

Mayor Park Il-ha said, "I hope this early admission mock interview will serve as a turning point in students' lives, bringing them one step closer to their dreams," and added, "We will continue to implement differentiated educational policies to address the concerns of students and parents regarding college admissions."
