Allegations of Violating the Public Health Control Act
Da-hye Moon, the daughter of former President Moon Jae-in, who is suspected of operating an illegal lodging business in Jeju, admitted to the charges during a police summons investigation.
On the 13th, the Jeju Autonomous Police Agency announced that Moon would be sent to the prosecution on the 15th on charges of violating the Public Health Control Act.
It is known that Moon admitted to all the charges during a two-hour summons investigation on the 11th, attended by her lawyer.

Moon is suspected of operating a shared lodging business (Airbnb) without registering her single-family house in Hyeopjae-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju City, as a lodging business for the past two years.
The autonomous police confirmed that they secured evidence such as Airbnb review records.
Previously, a complaint was filed through the National Petition System alleging that unregistered illegal lodging was being conducted at Moon's single-family house. In response, Jeju City requested an investigation by the autonomous police in September to verify the facts.
According to the Public Health Control Act, operating a lodging business without registration is punishable by up to two years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million won.
