On the 13th, during an administrative audit of the Gyeonggi Water Resources Headquarters, Assemblyman Yu stated, "Abandoned wells serve as pathways for pollutants such as pesticides and livestock manure, causing groundwater contamination," and emphasized, "It is very encouraging that Gyeonggi Province has proactively responded by supporting groundwater conservation monitoring officers in nine cities and counties to handle 115 abandoned wells, but there is a need to expand support to all cities and counties where management personnel are insufficient."

He also asserted, "Regarding bottled water, it is not enough to respond to companies that repeatedly violate related laws with only warnings and fines," adding, "Bottled water is directly related to the health and safety of residents, so it is necessary to accurately identify the reasons for repeated violations and carry out more active and bold administrative measures."
