Annual Support of Camista Baseball Uniforms Worth 20 Million KRW, Increasing to 100 Million KRW Over 5 Years Starting This Year
‘Unida,’ a sportswear company specializing in baseball uniforms under the brand Kamista, will support Dong-Eui University’s baseball team with uniforms worth approximately 20 million KRW annually for five years.
On the 12th, Dong-Eui University held a sponsorship agreement ceremony for the baseball team uniforms at the president’s office on the second floor of the main building. Attendees included President Han Suhwan, Director of External Cooperation Kim Chiyong, Baseball Team Manager Moon Wangsik, and Unida CEO Yoon Hyunsik.
The sponsored items include 100 tops and 150 bottoms, consisting of home and away uniforms and additional pants, valued at about 20 million KRW. Over five years starting this year, the total sponsorship will amount to approximately 100 million KRW.
CEO Yoon Hyunsik, an alumnus of Dong-Eui University’s Department of Business Administration, said, “There was no baseball team when I was a student, but recently, through the media, I have come to appreciate the baseball team’s achievements, which has greatly increased my pride in my alma mater. I decided to support the team and other sports clubs with hopes for their continued success.”
President Han Suhwan expressed his gratitude, saying, “We appreciate the support for our juniors. We expect the baseball players to achieve good results wearing the new, highly functional uniforms.”
Established in 1998, Unida is a Busan-based company producing student athletic wear and high-performance sports apparel. It is recognized for its technology and quality as a professional sportswear manufacturer, exporting OEM products to the US MLB, NFL, NBA, and more. Under the Kamista brand, it produces and sponsors uniforms and equipment for many Korean professional baseball teams and Busan city’s representative athletes.
