Namyangju City Opens 12th Dahamkke Care Center and Namyangju Child Care Center

Strengthening the Care Network

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Ju Gwang-deok) held an opening ceremony on the 13th for the 12th Dahamkke Care Center and the Namyangju Child Care Center (hereinafter referred to as Dahamkke Care Center 12th Branch and Hub Center).

About 50 people attended the opening ceremony, including Mayor Ju Gwang-deok, city council members, center operation committee members, representatives from the operating corporation, and officials from the Gyeonggi Women's Family Foundation.


The event proceeded in the order of △ center introduction △ awarding of appointment letters to the operation committee △ center tour.


The Dahamkke Care Center 12th Branch and Hub Center has been operated under consignment by the educational community Woorinuri Social Cooperative since July.


The Dahamkke Care Center 12th Branch operates with a capacity of 25 elementary school students and offers various programs such as regular and emergency care, school homework guidance, arts and physical education and special activities, and meal and snack support.


Additionally, the Namyangju Child Care Center serves as a village-centered elementary care hub center, promoting various strategic projects such as building and operating networks among care institutions and developing community-tailored care programs.


Mayor Ju Gwang-deok said, “As Jeong Yak-yong said, ‘Raising one child is like creating a whole world,’ Namyangju City will continue to do its best to deliver beautiful gifts to children and families.”


Meanwhile, the city operates an efficient care network centered on △ local children's centers (60 locations) △ Dahamkke Care Centers (13 locations) △ Sangsang Nuriter (4 locations) △ Namyangju Child Care Center (1 location) to strengthen stable village care policies focused on children and families, and plans to continue efforts to meet the rapidly increasing care demand.
