HiteJinro Q3 Operating Profit Up 62%... "Both Soju and Beer Increased"

HiteJinro announced on the 13th through a disclosure that its consolidated operating profit for the third quarter of this year reached 70.2 billion KRW, a 61.5% increase compared to the same period last year. During the same period, sales increased by 4.8% to 685.7 billion KRW, and net profit also rose by 100.9% to 43.8 billion KRW.

Looking at each business segment, beer sales increased by 4.3% to 245.7 billion KRW, and operating profit surged by 409.2% to 21.1 billion KRW. Soju sales and operating profit rose by 5.4% and 53.6%, respectively, reaching 377 billion KRW and 48.1 billion KRW.

A HiteJinro official stated, "We improved operating profit by continuously optimizing marketing expenses this year, and sales grew for the third consecutive quarter following the launch of new products."
