The police have launched an investigation into allegations that a poster named 'Han Dong-hoon' wrote defamatory posts about President Yoon Seok-yeol and his wife on the People Power Party members' bulletin board.

On the 13th, the Cyber Investigation Unit 2 of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that they would summon Oh Sang-jong, the head of the Korea Freedom and National Defense Corps, who reported the case. On the 11th, Oh reported to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency that multiple posts defaming President Yoon and First Lady Kim Geon-hee were uploaded under the name Han Dong-hoon, accusing the author of violating the Stalking Punishment Act and the Information and Communications Network Act (defamation).
The People Power Party members' bulletin board requires real-name verification to post. In principle, the author's name is anonymized except for the surname, but recently, due to a system error, the real names were exposed when searching for the author's name. As a result, defamatory posts about President Yoon and his wife, found by searching under the names of Mr. Han and his family, spread through YouTube, causing controversy in the political sphere. However, Mr. Han's side stated that the posts are presumed to have been written by a party member with the same name.
