"Helpful for Travel" Jeju Travel Public Platform 'Tamnao' Achieves 97.2% Customer Satisfaction

16.7%↑ in Tamnao Product Satisfaction Compared to Last Year
78.6% of Tenant Companies Responded 'Tamnao is Helpful'

The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Tourism Association announced on the 13th that it conducted a satisfaction survey in 2024 targeting customers and resident businesses of the public travel platform 'Tamnao' for Jeju travel.

Tamnao is supported by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and operated by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Tourism Association. This satisfaction survey was conducted over one month from August 28 to September 30. It targeted customers who used Tamnago within the past year and resident Jeju tourism businesses on Tamnao that had customer payments within the past year.


According to the survey results, among 1,397 total customer respondents, 97.2% answered that "Tamnao was helpful when traveling in Jeju." For the question "I intend to repurchase or recommend Tamnao to others," 97.8% responded positively, recording an overall user satisfaction rate of 97.1%.


The aspects customers were most satisfied with when using Tamnao were ▲product price (34.5%), ▲product variety (30.7%), ▲events/benefits (22.1%), ▲site convenience (11.1%), ▲customer center (1.1%), and ▲others (0.4%/public nature, etc.). Compared to the previous year, overall product satisfaction increased by 16.7%, and satisfaction by category?including flights, accommodations, rental cars, and tourist attractions?also rose accordingly.


Amid growing consumer anxiety toward travel platforms following the recent Timaf incident, comments such as "I hope Tamnao maintains its original intention without losing focus" and "I trusted it because it is a public platform, so I made a purchase" were also expressed.


This year marked the first time a satisfaction survey was conducted targeting Jeju tourism businesses resident on Tamnao. Among 159 responding businesses, 78.6% answered that "Tamnao is helpful to tourism operators." The most satisfying aspects of Tamnao for these businesses were ▲low commission fees (61.8%), ▲promotion and marketing support (10.1%), ▲zero entry fees (9.4%), ▲reliable settlements (9.4%), ▲convenient system (2.5%), and others (0.6%/detailed page production support).


Tourism businesses expressed hopes that "travelers visiting Jeju will support Tamnao more, reducing reservation rates on overseas sites or other platforms with high commissions," and suggested that "expanding online advertising or influencer sponsorships would greatly help small businesses," among various opinions.


Additionally, an analysis of 7,849 customer reviews left by users of Tamnao from its launch in 2016 through October 2024 showed an average review rating of 4.52 out of 5. Reviews rated as "satisfied" (4 to 5 points) accounted for 6,967 cases (88.8%), "average" (3 points) were 412 cases (5.2%), and "dissatisfied" (1 to 2 points) were 470 cases (6.0%). This indicates that product satisfaction viewed through reviews on Tamnao is also significantly high.
