2025 Season Schedule Announced: Opening in Australia on the 21st
42 Tournaments Across 26 Countries
Genesis Championship to Open Domestically in October Next Year

The DP World Tour (formerly the European Tour) will hold its largest season ever in 2025.

According to the 2025 season schedule announced by the DP World Tour on the 12th (local time), the opening event will be the BMW Australian PGA Championship (total prize money of 2 million Australian dollars), held over four days starting from the 21st in Brisbane, Australia. In December, the tour will move to the African continent with three tournaments taking place in South Africa and Mauritius.


The DP World Tour will host 42 tournaments across 26 countries next year. The total prize money for the season, excluding the four major championships, is $153 million (approximately 215.2 billion KRW). The Genesis Championship held in Korea will have a total prize money of $4 million and will take place over four days starting October 23. The venue will be announced later.


The 2025 season will conclude with two playoff (PO) tournaments held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in November 2025. The final event of the 2024 season, the Tour Championship (total prize money of $10 million), will be held from the 13th in Dubai, UAE. The DP World Tour’s structure allows the 2025 season to begin immediately on the 21st without a separate off-season period after this tournament.
