SKT Holds 2024 Best Partner Awards Ceremony

Held on the 12th at SKT Tower Supex Hall
30 Companies Awarded in Synergy and Partnership Categories

SK Telecom announced on the 13th that it held the '2024 Best Partner Awards Ceremony' to invite partner companies that created collaborative achievements and contributed to mutual growth throughout the year.

The awards ceremony, held the previous day at the Suprex Hall in SKT Tower, Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by key SKT executives including Kang Jong-ryeol, Chief Safety and Health Officer (CSPO), Kim Yang-seop, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and CEOs of companies selected as Best Partners.

At the ceremony, 30 companies were named Best Partners in the Synergy and Partnership categories.

The Synergy category recognized 23 partner companies that generated business results by contributing to the advancement of SKT’s key services such as artificial intelligence (AI), subscription services, and 5G networks, and successfully executing business-to-business (B2B) projects.

The Partnership category awarded 7 companies that actively participated in SKT’s mutual growth programs and made efforts to establish an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management system.

Sejun Dokgo, CEO of Vidii Co., Ltd., which won the Best Partner Award in the Synergy category, said, "We are grateful to receive the Best Partner Award for three consecutive years and will continue to cooperate with SKT to provide the best services."

The awarded companies received prizes such as interest-free loan program support, Onnuri gift certificates, and welfare points for employees.

SKT’s 'Best Partner Awards Ceremony' started in 2006 and has been held for 19 years. SKT supports its business partners through win-win programs such as the Mutual Growth Fund, AI capability enhancement training, an online exclusive recruitment center for business partners, and ESG management support. In the mutual growth index evaluation announced last month, SKT received the highest grade for 12 consecutive years.

CFO Kim said, "This year’s Best Partner Awards Ceremony is a meaningful event for SKT as it celebrates its 40th anniversary. We will continue to lead the creation of an ecosystem where we can grow together with various partners as a global AI company."
