"Boosted Morale of Childcare Staff"... Goseong-gun Holds Night for Childcare Workers Event

Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province held the 2024 Goseong-gun Childcare Workers' Night event at the Goseong-gun Culture and Sports Center performance hall to boost the morale and encourage the hard work of childcare staff in the district.

The event, held on the afternoon of the 12th, was hosted by the Goseong-gun Daycare Center Association and sponsored by Goseong-gun, with about 150 childcare workers attending. Many distinguished guests, including County Governor Lee Sang-geun and Goseong-gun Council Chairman Choi Eul-seok, participated to encourage the childcare workers who are working on the front lines.

In addition, six outstanding childcare workers, including Heo Mi-young from Goseong Bodeum Nanum-i Daycare Center, were awarded commendations for their contributions to the healthy growth and development of infants and young children and to childcare services, boosting the morale of childcare staff. Furthermore, attendees enjoyed a performance by an invited band, providing a meaningful time to relieve stress, encourage each other's efforts, and find emotional relaxation.

Governor Lee said, “Thanks to the efforts and passion of childcare workers, children are growing toward a bright future. I deeply appreciate the dedication of childcare workers who devote themselves to the children. We will continue to do our best to ensure that childcare workers can focus on caring for the children.”

Meanwhile, Goseong-gun has 12 daycare centers, with 457 children enrolled and 136 childcare workers employed. Goseong-gun is promoting high-quality childcare services through administrative and financial support for improving the treatment of childcare workers and the operation of daycare centers.
