Point Mobile, AVVA PT11 Obtains LG Uplus Network Certification... "Only SME"

Point Mobile announced on the 13th that its new tablet PC under its own brand AVVA, the ‘PT11,’ has obtained LG Uplus network certification.

Starting with this certification, Point Mobile plans to strengthen its cooperation with LG Uplus to enhance consumer accessibility and accelerate its entry into the B2C market beyond the B2B market.

Until now, the Samsung Galaxy tablet PC was the only product to have received carrier network certification, but with Point Mobile’s PT11 also obtaining this certification, it has become available for general consumer purchase. This is the first and only case among small and medium-sized enterprises and the second case in the industry.

LG Uplus quality certification involves rigorous testing of wireless frequency (RF) performance, network quality, and more. Products that pass these tests are guaranteed stability and security. The AVVA PT11, which received this certification, is expected to establish itself as a highly reliable tablet PC that users can use with confidence without concerns about performance or security.

Based on this certification, Point Mobile plans to collaborate with LG Uplus to introduce various bundled products utilizing the AVVA PT11. Through these bundles, consumers can receive device subsidy benefits, allowing them to purchase the product at a reasonable price. For consumers who find lump-sum payments burdensome, long-term installment plans will also be offered. This is expected to significantly improve consumer accessibility by enabling users to effectively use the PT11 without initial costs.

Given that there has been only one Android tablet brand certified by domestic carriers until now, the certification of the AVVA PT11 is expected to provide consumers with new options, leading to a positive market response, according to the company.

The PT11 offers optimized performance for users with educational and entertainment purposes. The product is equipped with an octa-core processor supporting speeds up to 2.2GHz, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. Its display features an 11-inch 2000x1200 resolution wide-view IPS panel and four speakers that deliver vivid surround sound and visuals. Additionally, it supports Widevine L1 for high-definition streaming, ensuring a comfortable user experience.

A Point Mobile representative said, “Obtaining LG Uplus quality certification is an important achievement that once again proves our company’s technological capabilities and product reliability,” adding, “We will continue to provide the best products in terms of quality and functionality to become a trusted company for our customers.”
