This year, through a sponsorship partnership for suicide prevention, the Taean County Association for Home Economics Improvement delivered goods worth a total of 8 million won to elderly people living alone over three occasions in May, July, and September. Including the recent delivery of small chrysanthemums, the total amount of support has reached approximately 12 million won.
President Lee Sunyoung said, "With the cold winter approaching, we wanted to offer a small gesture of support to those in marginalized groups who may feel even lonelier, which is why we participated in this volunteer activity. We will continue to do our best to look out for those in need throughout our community."
