On the 12th at 1 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the completion ceremony of Haegneul Park held at San 120-5, Wolgye-dong.
The district has newly renovated the long-neglected site of a long-term unexecuted urban park to provide residents with a new resting space.
The park is equipped with various facilities such as a children's playground, an observatory, a pergola, and walking trails, allowing residents of all ages to relax comfortably in nature.
In particular, facilities were arranged and landscaping carefully planned so visitors can rest while overlooking the Wolgye-dong area from the park.
About 100 people, including Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, district council members, and local residents, attended the ceremony, which proceeded in the order of ▲progress report ▲congratulatory speeches ▲commemorative photo ▲cutting ceremony ▲rounding.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I am very pleased that this area, which was damaged and neglected, has been transformed into a valuable resting place for residents. We will continue to create parks in harmony with nature to support residents' leisure and healing.”
