Police have launched an investigation after a threatening post about committing a stabbing rampage was circulated online at Dongduk Women's University, where protests against the transition to coeducation are taking place.
The Dongjak Police Station in Seoul announced on the 12th that they received a report related to the threatening post and are tracking down the author.
A police official stated, "We have received the report and are tracing the IP address."
The post was uploaded by a user on a social networking service (SNS) and reportedly included a photo of a weapon along with mentions of students protesting against Dongduk Women's University's push to transition to coeducation.
Meanwhile, after it became known that Dongduk Women's University discussed the 'transition to coeducation' while establishing its school development plan, the student council has strongly opposed it through class boycotts and other actions.
