Jeonbuk Imsil Youth Training Center, Additional Dormitory Construction

Completion Ceremony on the 12th... Popular Training Activities Nationwide

Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, has newly opened a space that strengthens the dreams, future, and capabilities of youth nationwide by adding a dormitory to the existing youth training center.

On the 12th, Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, held a completion ceremony for the newly constructed dormitory near Saseondae in Gwanchon-myeon. About 50 people attended the ceremony, including Vice Governor Seol Sang-hee, Jang Jong-min, Chairman and members of the Imsil-gun Council, and heads of organizations.

The Imsil-gun Youth Training Center, completed in 2012, is a representative youth training facility of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, operating a dormitory with 49 rooms accommodating 334 people.

The newly added dormitory has a total floor area of 2,142㎡ and is a three-story building with 29 rooms, providing space for 87 people, allowing youth to use the facilities more comfortably.

Last year, about 6,200 youth and 2,100 general visitors came to the Imsil-gun Youth Training Center. This place attracts many visitors not only from schools within the province but also from all over the country, including Jeonnam and Chungnam, for training activities and facility rentals, gaining great popularity.

The county plans to actively develop and operate various programs for youth in the future to serve as a stepping stone for healthy growth.

County Governor Shim Min said, "The newly built dormitory will become a special and valuable space where many youth can nurture their dreams and strengthen their capabilities," adding, "We will do our best to create convenient facilities and diverse programs befitting a space representing the youth of Jeonbuk."
