1000 Eco-Friendly Shopping Bags Delivered for Carbon Neutrality and a Sustainable Future
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Hanul Headquarters (Head Lee Seyong) conducted the ‘Bye bye plastic!’ campaign on November 12 at Uljin Baji Market to discourage the use of disposable products and promote an eco-friendly lifestyle culture.

The Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters delivered 1,000 eco-friendly shopping bags to the Uljin Baji Market Merchants Association, and the Hanul Volunteer Group distributed the bags along with informational leaflets containing carbon-neutral lifestyle guidelines to merchants and market visitors.
Ban Gidong, president of the Uljin Baji Market Merchants Association, expressed gratitude, saying, “Going forward, Baji Market will reduce the use of plastic bags with the shopping bags supported by Hanul Headquarters and actively participate in environmental protection activities in daily life.”
Son Bongsun, head of external cooperation at Hanul Nuclear Power Plant Headquarters, stated, “Hanul Headquarters will continue to carry out campaigns to establish a culture of using shopping bags in traditional markets, and plans to engage in various activities to protect the environment together with the local community to practice ESG management.”
