New Participant Level Test Registration Open Until the 20th
Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) announced on the 12th that it is recruiting new students for the winter semester at the Hub English Centers, which will run from December 2 this year to February 28 next year.
The recruitment targets are students from 2nd grade elementary school to 3rd grade middle school based on the 2024 academic year, as well as adults. New students participating in the winter semester must take a level test before enrollment.
The new level test applications will be accepted from the 11th to the 20th and the tests will be conducted by the 27th. Returning students have a separate registration process until the 13th.
This winter semester, the Hub English Centers will operate at five locations: ▲Gijang Education Happiness Town ▲Gijang Comprehensive Social Welfare Center ▲Jeonggwan-eup Education Happiness Center ▲Wolnae Welfare Center ▲Ilgwang Hub English Center, with 16 excellent native English-speaking instructors deployed.
Classes are held five days a week with 100% practical English conversation lessons taught by professional native instructors. The tuition fee is affordable at 40,000 KRW per month (45,000 KRW for adults), receiving great response from parents and residents.
A Gijang-gun official stated, “The Gijang Hub English Centers greatly improve the local English education environment and serve as a foothold for nurturing talent in the global era,” adding, “We hope many students and residents participate and enjoy learning English while growing.”
