Yeoju Art Museum 'Art Museum Ryeo' Operates Convergent Arts Education

Art & Music Ryeo: Family Music Play "Peter and the Wolf" Performed by Woodwind Quintet

In Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo), the art museum 'Art Museum Ryeo' announced on the 12th that it will hold a convergence art education program called ‘Art&Music Ryeo’ on the 16th at 3 p.m., where visitors can see art exhibitions and listen to music along with explanations of the pieces.

The 2024 convergence art education program will feature Yeoju's performing arts groups, known for their numerous awards and outstanding musical skills, and will be held every third Saturday at 3 p.m. from April to December.


The museum will host the 2024 "Art Museum Ryeo" open exhibition - ‘12 Group Members Exhibition’ from November 6 (Wed) to November 24 (Sun). The 12 Group is an organization formed by talented artists from Yeoju. The exhibition titled ‘The way’ features a total of 14 artists, including newly joined Jung Hyun-young and Cho Byung-chul, as well as Kwon Eun-joo, Park Jong-moon, Son Yong-soo, Shin Gun-ha, Seo Ye-rim, Ahn Jong-dae, Ahn Jong-bae, Lee Sang-duk, Lee Jung-hyup, Choi Sun, Ha Geun-soo, and Ha Yong-hoon, showcasing over 30 works. The November ‘Art&Music Ryeo’ program will be a great opportunity to enjoy high-quality Yeoju art pieces and family musical theater together.


The November ‘Art&Music Ryeo’ program is themed ‘Family Musical Theater with Woodwind Quintet’ and features concert guides and performers including violinist Lee Se-young, flutist Wang Young-ho, oboist Lee Beop-seung, clarinetist Lee Jin-ah, bassoonist Yoon Seok-hee, and horn player Kim Byung-hoon.


Yeoju City’s art museum 'Art Museum Ryeo' planned this program to lower the barriers between fine arts and the public and to provide various attractions for smooth communication about fine arts. Advance reservations for the ‘Art&Music Ryeo’ program can be made on a first-come, first-served basis through the 'Art Museum Ryeo' website via Naver. Admission to the exhibition and performances is free, and more detailed information can be obtained through the website and phone inquiries.
