The Youth After-School Academy is a national policy support project led by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family to develop the capabilities and support the healthy growth of youth who need after-school care.

Ilsanseo-gu Youth Training Center's 'Raon Kkumteo' operates two classes for 40 students in grades 4 to 6 of elementary school and specializes in weekend and weekday experiential activities linked and utilized through various community resources such as local sponsorship, volunteering, and talent donation.

In addition, it provides various comprehensive services including ▲learning activities ▲special activities reflecting needs ▲life support. Especially in 2025, the program will emphasize the importance of career planning during early adolescence and focus on career specialization. This will be based on the Ilsanseo-gu Youth Training Center's specialization policy promoted according to the management innovation plan of the Goyang City Youth Foundation.

Admissions counseling for the Youth After-School Academy will be conducted until December for youth in grades 4 to 6 of elementary schools in the district and their parents. Once the total capacity of 40 students plus about 10 waiting list spots is filled, the counseling may end early.

Detailed information and inquiries about admissions counseling can be checked on the Ilsanseo-gu Youth Training Center website or by phone.
