Listening to Public Opinions, Opening Public Data, and Promoting Its Use
Miryang City in Gyeongnam Province is conducting two events until December 1st to ensure that digital technologies and services are easily and conveniently accessible to all citizens: "Collecting Opinions to Create a Digitally Inclusive Society for Everyone" and a "Survey Event to Promote the Opening and Utilization of Public Data."
These events are open to the entire nation. Participants can join by accessing the popup zone on Miryang City's official website to submit their opinions or respond to the survey. The city plans to incorporate the diverse opinions gathered into the formulation of digital inclusion policies and improvements in public data management.
Miryang City will select 15 participants from each event through a draw and provide them with Miryang's specialty, Eulgumgol apple juice (worth approximately 20,000 KRW).
Choi In-cheol, the Public Relations and IT Officer, stated, "Through this event, we aim to identify citizens' satisfaction and inconveniences regarding public data, find ways to improve public data management, and strive to develop policies and services that meet citizens' needs and address their concerns."
