Yeoncheon-gun Holds the 3rd Contract Review Committee Meeting of 2024

Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 12th that it held the 3rd Yeoncheon-gun Contract Review Committee meeting of 2024 in writing on the 11th for 10 contract review committee members, including Chairman Lee Byung-oh.

To ensure transparency in ordering and contracting and to execute finances efficiently, the county held a contract review committee meeting for five projects under the jurisdiction of the Future Strategy Officer, including the Gyeongwon Line abandoned railway utilization climate response urban forest creation project, and five projects under the Construction Division, including the reestablishment of the Yeoncheon-gun small stream maintenance comprehensive plan and topographic map announcement service.


Although the contract review committee was conducted in writing considering the urgency of the projects, it proceeded through thorough review by the committee members based on detailed explanatory materials provided by the ordering department officials regarding the project overview, necessity, bidder qualification restrictions, contract methods, and bid winner determination methods.


Kwon Young-min, Head of the Accounting Division, stated, “Through the practical operation of the contract review committee, we will prevent unnecessary misunderstandings related to contracts and strive to ensure transparency by promoting projects in accordance with fair and accurate relevant regulations and procedures from ordering to contracting and execution.”


Meanwhile, the Yeoncheon-gun Contract Review Committee consists of 10 members, including construction technicians and lawyers in related fields, and deliberates and advises on matters such as bidder qualifications and contract methods for construction projects estimated at 5 billion KRW or more, service and goods purchases of 1 billion KRW or more, and sanctions against dishonest contractors.
