Eligible priority supply candidates are ‘earthquake-affected residents’ and applications can be submitted at the Eup/Myeon/Dong Administrative Welfare Centers or the Earthquake Disaster Prevention Division of Pohang City Hall.

The Pohang Heunghae national rental housing consists of 3 buildings with a total of 200 units, of which 100 units will be prioritized for earthquake-affected residents: 22 units of 9-pyeong (29㎡), 29 units of 12-pyeong (37㎡), and 49 units of 15-pyeong (46㎡).

The rent is planned to be 60-80% of the surrounding market price, and move-in is scheduled for May 2026.

Eligibility requires applicants to be earthquake-affected residents who are members of a household without a home as of the recruitment announcement date, with an income (for a 3-person household) of 7.19 million KRW or less, and total assets valued at 448.5 million KRW or less.

However, even if applicants apply for priority supply by the 25th, they must reapply during the designated application period announced in the tenant recruitment notice scheduled for December.

For detailed inquiries, contact the LH Daegu·Gyeongbuk Rental Supply Operation Team or the Earthquake Disaster Prevention Division of Pohang City Hall.

A Pohang City official stated, “The construction of national rental housing promoted under the Heunghae Special Regeneration Plan is expected to realize housing stability for earthquake-affected residents and contribute to revitalizing the local economy through population inflow to the Heunghae area,” adding, “We will spare no administrative support for this priority supply candidate application process.”
