Mayor Kim Kyung-il "Supporting Examinees to Arrive Safely at Test Sites... Helping Them Focus on Exams"
Model Drivers Association Offers Free Rides from 7:00 to 8:10 AM at Train Stations on Exam Day
Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) will support emergency transportation for exam takers on the morning of the 14th in preparation for the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test.
Paju City will operate an emergency transport team consisting of 12 vehicles, including 10 vehicles from the Model Drivers Association and 2 special transportation vehicles for the mobility-impaired.
The emergency transport team will assist exam takers in arriving on time at nine major locations, including Unjeong Station, Yadang Station, Geumchon Station, and Munsan Station. The emergency transport vehicles will be marked with easily identifiable "Emergency Transport" stickers.
Vehicles from the Model Drivers Association will be on standby at major points such as railway stations and main bus stops from 7:00 AM to 8:10 AM on the day of the exam, providing free transportation for exam takers who urgently need to get to the test sites.
Special transportation vehicles for mobility-impaired exam takers will be deployed from 6:00 AM to 8:10 AM. By calling the Paju City Mobility Support Center for the Mobility-Impaired, these special vehicles will pick up students from their locations and transport those at risk of being late to the exam sites free of charge.
Additionally, local taxi companies will increase the number of operating vehicles to respond promptly to urgent situations during exam takers' travel times.
Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City said, "We will actively support exam takers who have prepared their best to arrive safely at the test sites and focus on their exams," adding, "We cheer for the fruits of the hard work of all exam takers."
