Hansung Cleantec is making its first entry into the United States following new domestic orders from SK Hynix, Samsung E&A, and others. The company is continuously expanding its domestic and international business based on the know-how accumulated through the localization of ultrapure water technology.
According to Hansung Cleantec on the 12th, it will supply ultrapure water facilities to the semiconductor chemical production plant of Soulbrain TX LLC, located in Taylor, Texas, USA.
The contract involves the export of the ultrapure water facility “T2-PJT_UPW (Ultra Pure Water) system,” which incorporates domestically developed design and patented technology, valued at $2,814,400 (approximately 3.873 billion KRW).
Based on its previous research activities, Hansung Cleantec has registered two patents related to ultrapure water technology: ▲ a high-purity industrial water manufacturing system and its method, and ▲ the skid and modularized plant assembly structure that mitigates shock transmission.
By applying these two patented technologies registered during the localization process of ultrapure water, the company ensures the stability of the supplied facilities and secures high quality through skid and modularization for easy installation on site.
A Hansung Cleantec representative stated, “Reflecting the strict requirements of the customer, we are supplying the system in a modular form to the U.S. for the first time,” and added, “We will do our best in quality management.”
He also added, “We hope this entry into the U.S. market will have a positive impact on our global business.”
