Application Through Dongjak-gu Office Website Integrated Reservation System
Dongjak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Il-ha) will hold the ‘Dongjak Knowledge LIVE Concert’ organized by Dongjak Residents University for free at Dongjak-gu Office on the 18th and 27th of this month and the 5th of next month.
This concert, planned and organized by ‘Dongjak Residents University,’ a lifelong learning brand unique to Dongjak-gu, will feature expert lectures under the slogan ‘Three Perspectives for Preparing the Future.’
On the 18th of this month, from 5 PM, Lee Ji-young, a top instructor in the social studies field in Daechi-dong, will give a lecture titled ‘The Role of Parents and Tips for Child Education for the Future,’ discussing the competencies children need to prepare for the future and methods of parental education.
On the 27th of this month at 3 PM, poet Na Tae-ju, widely known as the poet of wildflowers, will deliver a lecture titled ‘The Future Seen Through the Poet’s Eyes,’ sharing ways to develop future competitiveness through creative activities in the age of artificial intelligence.
On the 5th of next month at 2 PM, announcer Lee Geum-hee will present a lecture titled ‘Conversation Methods for Creating a Happy Future,’ offering methods of dialogue and communication to discover one’s value and envision a meaningful future.
The concert will be held for 1 hour and 30 minutes in the main auditorium on the 5th floor of the district office and is open to all interested residents and local workers. Applications can be made through the Dongjak-gu Office website’s integrated reservation system, and about 400 participants per lecture will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, so early closure is possible. Earlier this year, the district launched Dongjak Residents University, a Dongjak-gu-style education brand that integrates lifelong education programs such as lifelong learning centers and neighborhood learning spaces, which were previously operated separately.
