According to the report, a Vietnamese man named Mr. A began to suspect his wife of cheating as their daughter grew up looking increasingly different and much prettier than both of them.
Eventually, Mr. A secretly took a DNA test and received results indicating a 'non-paternity' match with his daughter. Devastated by the fact that the daughter he had raised for over ten years was not his biological child, he confronted his wife, Mrs. B, asking if she had an affair with another man. However, Mrs. B firmly denied any infidelity and left for Hanoi with their daughter.
Soon after, an unexpected truth was revealed at the school the daughter had transferred to. The daughter, Ms. C, became friends with another girl, Ms. D, who was born on the same day at the same hospital. When Ms. C visited Ms. D’s home, she noticed something strange: Mrs. B resembled Ms. D very closely, and Ms. D’s mother looked similar to Ms. C. Curious, the two families conducted DNA tests and discovered that the two girls had been switched at birth due to a hospital mistake.
The two families agreed to spend time together regularly and decided to tell the children the truth when the time was right, considering the potential shock. It is unknown whether they will take legal action against the hospital.
