Recruitment of Students for Dongdaemun-gu - Kyung Hee University Global Future Education Center

Kyung Hee University-Linked Meditation Program and Cultural Exploration Course for Residents

Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Ilpyeong Lee) is recruiting students on a first-come, first-served basis for the courses "Meditation - Finding the Lost Me" and "Cultural Exploration - History and Civilization of Late Baekje, Buyeo," operated in cooperation with Kyung Hee University Global Future Education Institute.


The "Meditation - Finding the Lost Me" course is a program that combines theory and practice to enhance understanding of oneself and others and promote mental healing, conducted over a total of four sessions.


The lectures consist of ▲Mental Health and Meditation for Modern People (Woollim) ▲Success and Happiness (Eoullim) ▲Light Meditation to Enhance Attention and Connection (Sallim) ▲Mind Healing Meditation. These lectures will be held from November 27 to December 18, every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kyung Hee University Department of Dance Building.


The "Cultural Exploration - History and Civilization of Late Baekje, Buyeo" course is a historical and cultural docent program conducted through visits to major historical sites in Buyeo and commentary by Professor Yong Eun Kim of the Kyung Hee University Central Museum.

This program will take place over two days, from November 22 to 23. On the 22nd, there will be pre-education at Kyung Hee University from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on the 23rd, a field trip will be conducted, departing from Kyung Hee University to Buyeo.


These programs are open to any Dongdaemun-gu residents or those operating businesses within the district. The meditation program will accept 25 participants, and the cultural exploration program will accept 34 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, with a tuition fee of 20,000 KRW.


Applications can be made through the Kyung Hee University Global Future Education Institute website or by phone.


A district official stated, "We will continue to strive to provide high-quality lifelong education programs to residents by utilizing the infrastructure and human resources of excellent universities located in the region."
