Dangjin City, Chungnam Province, announced that it successfully held the "One Heart Family Sports Festival" for the unity and harmony of the Volunteer Crime Prevention Federation at the Dangjin Indoor Gymnasium on the 9th.
More than 700 people attended the event, including Oh Seonghwan, Mayor of Dangjin, Seo Younghun, Chairman of the Dangjin City Council, Park Geuncheol, Head of the Volunteer Crime Prevention Federation, and its members.
This event was organized to encourage the volunteer crime prevention members who have been working to maintain local security and prevent crime.
The event featured a variety of programs, including a pre-ceremony performance, an opening declaration, award presentations, speeches, sports activities, and a singing contest, allowing the members and their families to enjoy a refreshing and bonding time together.
Oh Seonghwan, Mayor of Dangjin, said, "I would like to thank the volunteer crime prevention members for their hard work in protecting the safety of citizens through nighttime patrols and their spirit of sacrifice and service," adding, "The city will continue to provide strong support and attention so that the Volunteer Crime Prevention Federation can take pride in their activities."
Meanwhile, the Dangjin Volunteer Crime Prevention Federation, which consists of a total of 16 districts, is making every effort to create a safer Dangjin by conducting crime prevention patrols every night during late hours.
