According to an analysis of Korea Real Estate Board's Subscription Home data, the total number of special supply applications from January to September this year was 283,367. The breakdown by number of applications is as follows: ▲First-time homebuyers 154,478 (54.5%) ▲Newlyweds 87,398 (30.8%) ▲Multi-child families 33,776 (11.9%) ▲Elderly parent support 4,395 (1.60%) ▲Institutional recommendation 3,059 (1.1%) ▲Newborns 263 (0.1%). Approximately 85% of applications were concentrated in the first-time homebuyer and newlywed special supply categories, which mostly involve younger age groups.
This trend is also evident in recent winner statistics. According to the Korea Real Estate Board's "Subscription Winner Information by Age," from January to August this year, 57,388 winners were aged 40 or younger. Considering the total number of winners was 73,823, this accounts for 77.7%.
An industry insider stated, "As the recent trend in the sales market is centered on younger people aged 40 or below, there is growing interest in locations with nearby school districts or close proximity to workplaces."
Consequently, interest is increasing in the new residential complex 'e-Pyeonhansesang Naepo First Dream,' which offers a reasonable opportunity to own a home.
